Nestled in the heart of our 150-acre organic farm, Villa Bonizella is surrounded by an aromatic rose garden, an olive grove, two lakes and sprawling woods with a variety of walking paths. The Villa and the swimming pool, perched at the top of a rolling hill, offer a stunning view of the Tuscan countryside.

As you walk into the courtyard, family coats of arms line the walls, accompanying you into the Villa while immersing you in another time. Inside, our suites’ windows open on a breathtaking 180-degree view of the Tuscan hills, untouched of modern infrastructure—a vista frozen in time in the 14th century. Guests are free to enjoy several living and reading rooms upstairs, as well as a spacious, and quite unique ground floor salone with medieval arches.

The Villa was completely renovated and equipped with state of the art, silent, central AC and high-speed internet, both powered by our on-site solar energy system. These 21st-century comforts, combined with luxuriant 18th-century furnishings, will bring the Villa's heritage to life, making you feel like a true aristocrat.

Our swimming pool offers guests not just a refreshing place to swim, but a picture-perfect view of the Tuscan countryside as well. The pool’s filter system runs on a small amount of salt rather than chlorine and is therefore gentler on the skin, and a more natural and environmentally friendly system.

The Villa is conveniently located near Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza and San Quirico d’Orcia. During your staying, you will have the opportunity to visit no less than six UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

A visit to Villa Bonizella was a dream come true for me. I had always wanted to "do" Tuscany and the week I spent at Villa Bonizella so surpassed my dream.

The villa is beautiful and authentic, executed with exquisite and knowing taste, but without pretense; it's warm and feels like home--only a lot nicer. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners we enjoyed at the home were wonderfully Italian and served in lovely style--al fresco so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding acres, as well as the gorgeous pool.

Boni and her husband, Giovanni, are warm, intelligent and well-versed guides who looked after every detail of our day trips--to Siena, Florence, nearby wineries and more. Their attention to the guests and our needs was superb and I so enjoyed being shown this spectacular part of the world by sophisticated locals who grew up in Tuscany. Boni spent her childhood summers at the villa, which she very generously and enthusiastically shares with guests. I can't wait to go back!
