All Villa Bonizella rooms have state of the art, quiet air conditioning, high speed wi-fi and private bathrooms with artisanal, hand painted ceramic tiles coordinated with the room décor. The furniture features authentic European antiques. The floors are made of antique, handmade Tuscan cotto. As was customary for centuries in Tuscan villas, the suites feature color coded rooms with canopy beds. The layout of the rooms and suites allows guests to use the three suites as they like, either separately or together.
Chianti Suite
The Chianti Suite features our favorite living room and study, reminiscent of an elegant British country home, along with an imposing 700 year old fireplace and a collection of antique books. The Rose Room and Pale Blue Room will make you feel like royalty as you fall asleep surrounded by an elegant canopy.
Camera Rosa (Rose Room) is a double room with an 18th century French canopy bed, a private bathroom with hand painted tiles, antique furniture, a window facing the rose garden and the front yard, as well as a private terrace with a breathtaking view of the Southern Tuscan landscape.
Camera Celeste (Pale Blue Room) features antique canopy beds inherited from a family castle, antique furniture, and a private bathroom with pale blue hand painted tiles. The view of the woods and hills of nearby Trequanda are breathtaking, especially when bathed in the early morning light.
Brunello Suite
Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills exactly as they stood in the 14th century, with the medieval Castle of Gallico perfectly framed by every window. This suite offers guests a beautiful living room with French doors, an elegant fireplace crafted with local stone, a balcony facing the pool and the striking view, and a private kitchen.
Camera Gialla (Yellow Room) enjoys one of the most spectacular views of the Villa and features a double canopy bed, antique furniture and a private bathroom with hand painted tiles highlighted by a small yellow flower décor.
Camera Blu (Blue Room) is a very spacious room that enjoys one of the most spectacular views of the Villa. It features a double canopy bed, antique furniture and a private bathroom with hand painted tiles highlighted by a blue flower décor.
Vermentino Suite
The Vermentino Suite includes one of the Villa's true gems: the library bedroom. With walls covered by a tailored collection of antique books, medieval manuscripts, and 18th century literature in four languages, guests will feel transported to another era. This suite also features another bedroom, the Green Room, as well as a living area with an open kitchen and a lovely fireplace, all with authentic European antique furniture.
Biblioteca (Library Room) This double room, the largest of the entire Villa, has southern and western views and a 270 degree view. The other two windows on the olive and rose garden capture the sunset colors in late afternoon. The library houses numerous medieval manuscripts that detail the history of the surrounding area, as well as an extensive collection of ancient prints depicting Siena's countryside in the 18th and 19th century. Guests are encouraged to consult any of the above manuscripts or prints.
Camera Verde (Green Room) has a special view to the Villa’s front rose garden and a western exposure with the best view of the sunset. The Green Room also accesses a private living room with a fireplace and a kitchen.
